Join Us!The Evanston Children’s Choir accepts young people of all types, from anywhere, grades 2-12,* who simply love to sing and want to be a part of something special. Singers will be admitted to either the Junior, Main or Concert Choir depending on their current level of vocal and musical development, as well as overall maturity.
TUITION: Tuition for the 2010-2011 Season is $140 per semester per child for all Choirs. In the spirit of complete accessibility, families in need pay only the portion of the tuition which they can afford, on an “honors system” basis.
It is our policy to not turn any child away because of money.
TO JOIN: Registration for our Fall Semester 2010 is continuing on a rolling basis until all choirs are full. The Main and Concert Choirs are open to those who qualify via audition, usually 4th grade and up. All 2nd graders and most 3rd graders automatically start out at the Junior level, but must still schedule an "audition" for evaluation and orientation. (We are excited to announce the expansion of our Junior Choir program with the addition of a second Junior Choir on Mondays, in effect doubling our capacity for beginning singers due to popular demand!)
